What is the location of the summer school?
The summer school will take place on the campus of Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, in the Solbjerg Plads, Kilen and Howitzvej 60 buildings (see campus map below).

How much does the summer school cost?
The participation fee for the summer school is 2300 DKK (ca. 300 EUR).
PhD students wishing to receive 2.5 ECTS or 5.0 ECTS must enroll in the course offered by the Doctoral School of Business and Management at CBS and meet the evaluation criteria of a passing grade. Enrollment to the PhD course requires an additional fee.

Who is eligible to apply for the summer school?
Students enrolled in PhD or master programs in a computer science, information systems, engineering or another related program at a university are eligible to apply. Recent graduates and any other prospective students who can demonstrate an affinity to blockchain technology are also eligible to apply.

Do I need to know how to program to participate?
Some programming experience is highly recommended and will make participation in the summer school more rewarding.

Who is the organizer of the summer school?
The summer school is organized by Copenhagen Business School (CBS) with partners and sponsors.

Where can I stay during the summer school?
Please note that you have to book accommodation yourself. Below are some suggestions:

How can I get to the Copenhagen Business School?
Please note that transportation to and from the summer school will not be provided and you will have to make travel arrangements yourself.

To/from Copenhagen:
You can either take the plane to Copenhagen Airport or the train to Hovedbanegården (Copenhagen Central Station). Both have connections to regional and local trains or the metro.

Within Copenhagen:
To get to Copenhagen Business School, either take the bike (if you have one) or use public transportation (bus, S train, metro) to Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg. Travel information within Denmark is available via www.rejseplanen.dk

What should I do if I require a visa?

Will I be able to access the Internet during the event?
